St Mary’s is a warm and welcoming Christian community of all ages.
On this site you can discover something of the wide range of activities that make up our church life.
This is focussed in our worship of God and we look forward to seeing you on a Sunday or other occasions.
Sunday Worship is usually at 8am and 10am
Children’s worship meet in the meeting room during the 10 o’clock service.
The first Sunday in the month is a family service when the children remain in church.
The church is open on Saturdays 10.00 – 12.00am and tea and coffee is served.
We welcome families for Christenings on 3rd Sunday of each month at 12noon. The church is also available for weddings and funerals. There is someone in the vicar’s vestry on Thursday between 7.00 and 7.30pm to arrange details.
Traidcraft goods are on sale fortnightly after the 10am Sunday service.
We look forward to welcoming you.
A Time of Remembering
November brings occasions of remembrance:
All Souls - encourages us to thank God for the lives of those who have died.
All Saints - persuades us to be thankful for the people of God who we find within the life of the church and in the community around.
Remembrance Sunday - is the annual opportunity to quietly give thanks for those who have given their lives in order that we may live the way of life we do.
These are personal as well as shared moments. All are welcome to share them with us in church and we look forward to seeing you.
